Symptoms


Installer Window is not showing existing installed folder path while running Installer on Gateway Server when trying to patch Siebel Version 23.9 on 23.3.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Download the binaries for Siebel Version 23.9
2. Run ./runInstaller -invPtrLoc /opt/oraInventory/oraInst.loc
3. In Install Popup window click the dropdown to select the installed folder
