Error "SBL-EAI-50258: Input has invalid fields" When Querying a Workflow Step Through REST (Doc ID 3032236.1)

Symptoms

On : 22.3 version, Siebel EAI

When attempting to call a Workflow step from POSTMAN, the request fails with the below error:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Go to POSTMAN.
  2. Provide the GET method.
  3. Send the request for https://credentials@hostanme:port/siebel/v1.0/workspace/workspaceName/WorkflowProcess/WfName/WfStep/StepName -> error is thrown.
  4. Send the request for https://credentials@hostanme:port/siebel/v1.0/workspace/workspaceName/WorkflowProcess/WfName/WfStep -> no error is encountered.
