Accessibility: How To Make MVG Control Compliant With 3.2.2 On Input Criteria? (Doc ID 3042312.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 05, 2024

Applies to:

Siebel CRM - Version 24.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

During the compliance check for 3.2.2 On Input criteria, it was noticed that the clicking on the MVG icon on form and list applet fields results in a context change (pop-up opens), which is not called out to the user. Some individuals may have difficulty knowing when a visual context change has occurred.

The behavior of “visual context change (opening of pop-ups) without user warning” was also observer in the case of the below UI controls:
1. MVG icon
2. Pick icon
3. Date icon
4. Date time icon
5. Currency icon
6. Calculator icon
7. Mail icon.

Is there a way to make the MVG control compliant with 3.2.2 On Input criteria?
