Siebel Server Does Not Start Up - Srvrmgr List Servers Command Shows Servers With "Handshake Failed" Status - SBL-SVR-09127 Error Found in Enterprise Log File (Doc ID 3044417.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to bring the Siebel Server up it fails with processes getting terminated with the following error in the Enterprise log file

SBL-SVR-09127 Process 260608 exited with error - Internal: Fail to initialize the shared memory resource for the process.

It is possible to login to srvrmgr but all Siebel Servers are showing with "Handshake Failed" status.

The SvrTblCleanup_*.log file located under the siebsrvr/enterprises/enterprisename/siebelservername/log directory has the following errors:


Steps

1. Open a SSH session
2. Go to the siebsrvr directory and source the siebenv.sh environment variables

     $ cd siebsrvr
     $ . ./siebenv.sh

3. Start the Siebel Server
4. Wait for a few minutes and log in to srvrmgr command-line utility
5. Execute "list servers" command
6. The above mentioned behavior and errors are observed
