EIM Import Job Fails After Siebel Update To 24.x With "SBL-EIM-00107" (Doc ID 3058546.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import data using EIM, the following error occurs:

run task for component eim with config= DC_CUST_IP19_IFB_LOV_LOAD.ifb, TraceFlags=3, ErrorFlags=1, SQLFlags=8
SBL-ADM-60070: Error reported on server 'devsblsrvr' follows:
SBL-SVR-01042: Internal: Communication protocol error while instantiating new task SBL-EIM-00107: ODBC (SQL) error
SBL-EIM-00107: ODBC (SQL) error



STEPS
-----------------------
1. Install Siebel 19.x
2. Prepare the IFB file from EIM import of LOVs
3. Update the Siebel application to 24.x
4. Insert records in EIM_LST_OF_VAL table
5. Run EIM import job to insert the data into the LOV tables.

Changes

 Siebel was updated from 19.x to 24.9
