Purpose
The purpose of this Technical Note is to provide a primary list of solutions for Siebel System Administrators to use to help troubleshoot, debug, and resolve Siebel crash behaviors in Siebel versions 7.7.x, 7.8.x and 8.x. As new information is made available, this document will be updated so periodically review it to see the latest changes.
It is also recommended that you refer to <Document 477105.1> to assist in checking that your system is in compliance with the System Requirements and Supported Platform Guide or certification matrix. You are also encouraged to apply the latest Fix Pack to verify if the unwanted behaviors are reproducible. For information about the latest Fix Packs, refer to the appropriate Maintenance Release Guides.
If you are unable to resolve the unwanted behaviors, log a new service request to Technical Support and provide all the information described in the section titled “Solution” in the any of the Troubleshooting documents listed below.
