Purpose

Provide an overview of the common questions for setting up Document Server on an heterogeneous environment, such as:

Siebel component groups that need to be enabled on the Document Server machine.

Give details about how to set "File System" parameter for eDocuments component in a heterogenous environment (SBL-DAT-00176, SBL-DAT-00801 and SBL-UIF-00230 can be issued if this is not set correctly).

Make sure the DNS settings for the File System Manager box on Unix OS are set correctly (SBL-SRB-00047, SBL-UIF-00230 in the DocServer log and SBL-NET-01020 on the SRBroker log file on the Siebel server if this is not the case).
