SBL-EDC-00190, SBL-EDC-00212

We have an issue trying to get the document server running while using files stored on our Unix file system. As indicated and set up by your Siebel Expert we do not use a third party software but use the setting '*FSM*' for the Siebel File System for the document server component.

However we consistently get the following error returned by the Proposal generator:

'Error occurred in creating the draft document.(SBL-EDC-00190) *** Unable to copy the template file. Please verify that file S_DOC_PPSL_1-BQ7J_1-36G.SAF exists in the Siebel File System.(SBL-EDC-00212)'.

We have checked and the file is accessible through the OM when checking the Template Administration (using the OM that runs on the Unix machines) but seems to be unavailable from the Document server although we inactivated the File System Manager on the Windows environment.

Please be aware that the usage of a third-party software like Samba is not currently considered an option by the customer and if avoidable will not be used either.
