How To Modify The Width Or Length Of A Custom Extension Column On An EIM Table (Doc ID 538854.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2023

Applies to:

Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager - Version 7.0.4 [14068] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A custom extension column has been created on the S_DOC_QUOTE base table.

The EIM Mapping has also been created off this custom extension column.  However, the originally set size/length/width of the custom extension column was set at 250 which is now considered too small a value.

Thus, this custom extension column’s length was extended/changed from 250 to 2000.  This was changed successfully on the base table.

However, now the corresponding EIM table’s custom extension column still has the width 250 but it should be aligned with the new length of 2000.

How can the EIM table’s custom extension column width be changed to align it to the new width of the corresponding base table extension column?
