Goal

Requirement: Enable integration of repository check in/check out mechanism in Siebel Tools with a third-party source code-control system called MS Team Foundation Server.

In Bookshelf > Using Siebel Tools 7.8 rev B guide, page 54, it states "each time a project is checked into the server repository, an archive file containing all the objects in the project is also checked into the source control system".

The srcctrl.bat configuration is described on page 55, and it states the below command line needs to be completed:

- What will trigger the execution of the SRCCTRL.bat file?
- Is it automatically executed when a user checked-in a project in Tools?
- What about during a check-out operation?
- Is there integration between Siebel Tools and the Source control software to allow Siebel tools to check out the older version of files from source control software to restore back to the old configuration?
