Symptoms

Attempts to change a parameter of an already existing Solaris Cluster HA-Oracle (server) resource using "scrgadm -c" or "clrs set" fail, only reporting "VALIDATE method failed".


In the following examples we are trying to change the HA Oracle fault monitor's user password.
