Applying patches containing the SUNWcsr package onto a Solaris 10 miniroot can create OS installation problems.
(Doc ID 1002750.1)
Last updated on JULY 06, 2023
Applies to:
Solaris Operating System - Version 10 3/05 and laterAll Platforms
Goal
A few files are being delivered by both SUNWcsr and SUNWsibi. Though the file paths and file names are the same, the contents are different. If a patch containing the SUNWcsr package (and one of it's files) is applied onto a Solaris 10 miniroot, it will create problems for the initial boot during OS installation.
