How to resolve inactivity timeouts for logins and shells (Doc ID 1005784.1)

Goal

This document addresses two different inactivity timeouts:

A) A login session inactivity.

This is before you log in and you are at the Login: prompt.

B) A shell session inactivity. Note: this is only available for the Korn and Bash shells.

This is after you're logged in and are at the shell prompt.
