Solaris Cluster 3.x Disk Can not be Selected to be Quorum Device
(Doc ID 1006586.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 06, 2020
Applies to:Solaris Cluster - Version 3.0 to 3.1x [Release 3.0 to 3.1]
Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit)
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
The Solaris Cluster quorum device should be moved to a new device.
The scconf command seems to succeed, however the error:
"Reading reservation keys from quorum device /dev/did/rdsk/d<num>s2 failed"
is seen upon boot.
The pgre command shows that actual key for a node was never registered.
