Purpose

 This document will assist the user in diagnosing issues with missing device(s) and device warnings for Sun SPARC(R) Servers.

Symptoms:

  1. User can't see a device with the 'format' command

  2. User can't see multiple devices

  3. Use is getting device warnings

  4. User needs assistance in identifying missing or failed device
