Troubleshooting Solaris 10 Operating System: Can't install Zone (Doc ID 1010051.1)

Purpose

This document addresses failures in the zone installation process by checking configuration step by step.

This is most often observed when the user types in:

# zoneadm -z <zonename> install

Symptoms:

 

  1. zone installation fails

  2. errors after zone installation.

  3. zone configuration fails
