Solaris Cluster Resource Group (RG) Cannot be Brought Online Because one Resource Fails to Start (Doc ID 1010503.1)

Symptoms

When a START method call of a resource fails and the Failover_mode property is set to SOFT, the resource's group is relocated to another cluster member. This can result a ping-pong between nodes preventing the resource group from being brought online on any node.
