Solaris Cluster Multihost or Multi-Owner Diskset Creation Error "node is not in membership list" (Doc ID 1010747.1)

When trying to create a multi-owner metaset with the -M option, the following error is seen:

 host1# metaset -s rac-ds -M -a -h host1 host2 host3
metaset: host1: rac-ds: node host2 is not in membership list.


 host2# metaset -s rac-ds -M -a -h host1 host2 host3
metaset: host2: rac-ds: node host1 is not in membership list.


Creating a metaset without the -M option works fine.


In a wrong setup (not using Real Application Cluster (RAC)) also the following message was seen:
