Goal

This document describes Solaris Volume Manager (SVM) / Solstice DiskSuite (SDS) mirror performance and tuning parameters.

SDS and SVM offer functionality for several types of tuning parameters for mirrors.
They fall into three categories: resyncing, reading and writing.
