Symptoms
Portmapper will not install
Portmapper will not start
Install fails with error message
Message: pmapsvc.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Installation hangs at the "Starting Services" dialog
Progress bar is not increasing
Message: Could not start the SunRPC Portmapper service on Local Computer
Running rpcinfo -p {libattach_client} from the ACSLS server returns error message
Message: Registered programs already running on the LibAttach client.
