Symptoms

Any, or all, of these symptoms has been observed:

1. Message in acsss_event.log: "Vary failed."

2. Getting "Vary failed" error when trying to vary the drive online.

3. Drive in recovery state

4. Drive hung in recovery state

5. Drive is in recovery mode

6. Drive is stuck in recovery mode
