Goal
The following document assumes a PATH variable that contains /usr/sbin and /usr/bin.
For commands or files that normally exist outside of these common directories, full paths are specified.
Several occasions exist where a mangled filename prevent them from being deleted by the usual standard rm syntax.
The solution contains some examples of how to deal with the problem.
