Symptoms
If a local user (defined in /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow) logs in to a system that is configured as a client of any Naming Service other than files (NIS, NIS+ or LDAP), then the Naming Service Switch will try to resolve information for the rbac(5) databases user_attr(4) and audit_user(4) in the Naming Service sources, that are defined for the passwd(4) database in /etc/nsswitch.conf.
