zpool status shows non-multipathed devices even though Solaris multipathing has been enabled (Doc ID 1363311.1)

Symptoms

Solaris traffic manager has been enabled on disks which are used by a ZFS pool.

format output shows the correct disk devices, however as below we see a mix of non-multipathed and multipathed devices:

 

Solaris Traffic manager (multipathing) has been enabled, the system rebooted and based on format output the disks in the zpool should all be prefixed with "c4" (controller 4).

 

Changes

 The change which triggers this issue is enabling of multipathing or changing of physical device paths.
