Goal


Explain how to retrieve a 'stale' copy of an online file.

There are times when a file may have been inadvertently corrupted and/or reduced to a zero length, as in this example below.

SAM-QFS disaster recovery methods can be used to retrieve that copy directly from tape. This method can also be found in Chapter 5 of the Troubleshooting Guide.
