Goal

Execute a Live Upgrade using lucreate when the existing operating system is under Solaris Volume Manager(SVM). The intention is to use one submirror of each existing mirror of the operating system to become a mirror in the Alternate Boot Environment(ABE).

The scope of this document only covers an example of using the lucreate command options detach, attach, and preserve. For additional options and information refer to the lucreate man page lucreate(1M).
