Solaris Cluster HAStoragePlus 'Failed to fsck' of a metadevice Component in a Solaris Volume Manager metaset (Doc ID 1428594.1)

Symptoms

One node of a Solaris Cluster is failing to take the storage resources due to a failure when running fsck.  The failure shows that fsck is attempting to fsck a component of a Solaris Volume Manager (SVM) metadevice instead of the metadevice itself.

The failure includes the following types of messages:
