Goal

LPS - the Local Patch Server or Sun Update Connection Proxy


the Patch Server can be used as the single point of contact to the Internet to download patches. Other machines then use this Patch Server as the patch source and download the patches from there.
In this case, the customer only needs to register the Patch Server. The other machines that act as a client, do not have to be registered.
