Last updated on MAY 09, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit)
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (32-bit)
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
Oracle Solaris on x86 (32-bit)

Symptoms

On occasion it is seen that an individual disk that is experiencing hardware problems can slow down performance of an SVM mirror. In the d30 mirror shown below, the c9t11d0 disk began to report retryable errors. The result was that a job that normally takes 15 minutes would take 77 minutes.
