Goal

Customers wishing to download BIOS / UEFI / SP firmware for Oracle / Sun Servers can go directly to this link to locate and download the latest firmware for their system.

Oracle / Sun firmware is delivered as a patch, and the download page can be found at:

https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/systems/patches/firmware/release-history-jsp-138416.html

As well as the latest version of firmware, this site also contains the release history for each of the previous versions of the firmware and upgrade / installation information.

All of the links available here require you to be logged in to MOS before you can get to them.

Please observe the My Oracle Support sign-in instructions contained on the page prior to making your selection.

Alternatively, you can search My Oracle Support for the applicable firmware patches for your platform directly:

1. Select the "Patches and Update" tab
2. Click on "Product Family (Advanced)"
3. Pick a product, for example "Sun Blade X3-2B" You can begin typing the platform name to filter results such as "X3-2B"
4. Select the release required, the latest being preferable in the "Release is" drop down box
5. Click "Search"
