Very High Interrupt Count and System Time on an AMD cpu (Doc ID 1500424.1)

Symptoms

 A very high number of interrupts seen on a single cpu and high system time on the same cpu, for example in mpstat.

Only 'hpet_isr' has level 14 interrupts assigned to only cpu0.

 

Changes

This issue affected systems with AMD cpus running Solaris 10 with kernel patches 147441-11 to 147441-18
