Solaris Cluster Installation on Guest LDom shows "scdidadm: Inquiry on device ... failed." (Doc ID 1508004.1)

Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)

Symptoms

During Solaris Cluster installation on Oracle VM Server for SPARC host (LDom - guest domain)
or maybe a Solaris Cluster node there are some errors and cluster DID devices are not getting created properly.


The disk on the LDom looks like this:
