Symptoms
When trying to eject the cartridge from internal DAT72 drive using the eject button, it does not work.
When using the command from Solaris, the cartridge is ejected:
This behaviour was observed with PN: 380-1324 [F] DAT 72 Internal Tape Drive, 5.25 inch/68 pin SCSI in a Sun Fire V890 Server, though if the behavior is seen in other DAT drives the Solution should be the same.
Please note that 380-1324 DAT72 drive can be installed by default on different platforms; you may check this by using the Oracle System Handbook "search" tab (searching for platforms where 380-1324 can be installed).
