Purpose

Oracle Exalytics Patchset 2 (PS2) is now available. This cumulative patchset (PS) may be applied on Exalytics environments with the base install, Version 1.0.0.0.0, and/or Exalytics servers with Patchset 1 (PS1), version 1.0.0.1.0. PS2 includes the latest firmware and configuration utility updates and a number of bug fixes. It also includes the new features and updates originally provided in Exalytics PS1. PS1 features are described in "New Features in Oracle Exalytics Release 1 Patchset 1 (1.0.0.1)" in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation and Administration Guide for Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine Exalytics X2-4 Release 1 (1.0).

When fully installed, Exalytics PS2, upgrades the Exalytics server to version 1.0.0.2.0 and upgrades the product stack to:

Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 11.1.1.6.5
Oracle TimesTen (TT) 11.2.2.4.1
Oracle Web Logic Server (WLS) 10.3.6
Oracle Essbase 11.1.2.2.101 (optional component with PS1 and PS2)
