Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Exalytics Patchset 2 (PS2) is now available. This cumulative patchset (PS) may be applied on Exalytics environments with the base install, Version 220.127.116.11.0, and/or Exalytics servers with Patchset 1 (PS1), version 18.104.22.168.0. PS2 includes the latest firmware and configuration utility updates and a number of bug fixes. It also includes the new features and updates originally provided in Exalytics PS1. PS1 features are described in "New Features in Oracle Exalytics Release 1 Patchset 1 (22.214.171.124)" in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation and Administration Guide for Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine Exalytics X2-4 Release 1 (1.0).
When fully installed, Exalytics PS2, upgrades the Exalytics server to version 126.96.36.199.0 and upgrades the product stack to:
- Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 188.8.131.52.5
- Oracle TimesTen (TT) 184.108.40.206.1
- Oracle Web Logic Server (WLS) 10.3.6
- Oracle Essbase 220.127.116.11.101 (optional component with PS1 and PS2)

Exalytics Patchset 2 (PS2) includes software updates and patches which are described below.
Software updates available on Oracle Software Delivery Cloud:
Exalytics software may be located by searching on the "Oracle Business Intelligence" product and "Linux x86-64" platform. Select the link for "Oracle Exalytics Software Media Pack for Linux x86-64."
UPDATE Added 19-SEP-2013:
Please note that only the most current Exalytics software updates will be shown on the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud. As new Exalytics versions are released, older versions are removed. Oracle Exalytics Software Media Pack for Linux x86-64 version 18.104.22.168, Exalytics Patchset 3 (PS3), is now the current version on E-Delivery.
You may still upgrade to Exalytics PS2, by opening a non-technical Service Request (SR) to request the "Oracle Exalytics X2-4 Configuration Utilities v 22.214.171.124 Media Pack" and "Oracle TimesTen 126.96.36.199.1."
All other steps in this document are current as of 19-SEP-2013.

- Oracle Essbase update from 126.96.36.199.100 to 188.8.131.52.101 - Patch 14400518
Note: The above patch is required if you are currently using Essbase on Oracle Exalytics. If you are not using Essbase, and would like to install it for the first time, refer to complete instructions in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation and Administration Guide for Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine Exalytics X2-4 Release 1 (1.0), under section 184.108.40.206.

PS patches are intended to be applied as a full bundle and it is not recommended that individual components be updated without updating all of the components.
