Solaris Cluster 3.x Can rsh or rlogin be disabled? (Doc ID 1522815.1)

Last updated on MAY 07, 2024

Applies to:

Solaris Cluster - Version 3.2 to 3.3 U2 [Release 3.2 to 3.3]
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit)

For security you need to disable the rsh/rlogin services to Solaris Cluster nodes. You need to determine  if disabling these services would effect Solaris Cluster operations.
