Symptoms
Tapes can not be transported between modules on the SL8500. Left elevator is jamming.
Elevator failed initialization . SLC, Stream Line Console, shows Elevator status as "failed".

Error from device Code: 702 - Device move failed - OK to try again, checkForIsrFailure saw status=1, error=7004, mech=vadera; Move failed, excessive current required address = UNKNOWN(1,3,-22,2,1)
Error from device Code: 701 - Move failed - Device inoperative, recv move to 3 on left elevator;Invalid state (Move Motor Failure) should be 'Ready' address = UNKNOWN(1,3,-22,2,1)
