SAM-QFS: How To Configure CIFS/SMB For QFS Not to Use Ephemeral ID's (Doc ID 1566093.1)

Goal

 Starting with Solaris 11, the Solaris OS provides a Server Message Block (SMB) protocol server and client implementation to allow filesharing with Common Internet File System (CIFS).
SAM-QFS supports CIFS with version 5.3 and higher.

SAM-QFS release 5.3 and lower does not support ephemeral IDs or SIDs. However, starting with the SAM-QFS 5.4 release, ephemeral IDs are supported.

All Windows identities must be explicitly mapped using idmap.
Files written by users/groups not mapped will get the default user and group setting: nobody/nobody
