Symptoms

Attempts to remove a vdisk from a guest domain fail with a message similar to the following:

# ldm remove-vdisk disk1 myguest
Guest LDom returned the following reason for failing the operation:

  Resource             Information
----------------  -------------------------
/dev/dsk/c2d17s2  Device being used by VxVM
VIO operation failed because device is being used in LDom myguest
Failed to remove vdisk instance
