Secure Global Desktop "printing-pdfdriver" Attribute Setting Is Ignored After Update (Doc ID 1591464.1)

Symptoms

Consider an Oracle Secure Global Desktop (SGD) setup where an attempt is being made to change the Printer Driver that is to be used for PDF Printing.  From the command line:

 

<SGD_INSTALLDIR>/tarantella config edit --printing-pdfdriver <DRIVER_NAME>

 

Where:

<SGD_INSTALLDIR> is the installation directory / path of SGD. Default is '/opt/tarantella/bin'
<DRIVER_NAME> is the name of a Driver to be use for SGD - PDF printing.
