Symptoms

Consider an Oracle Secure Global Desktop (SGD) setup configured to authenticate against an Active Directory (AD) server using the LDAP Login Authority (LA) instead of AD LA. The setup be configured with a valid 'Administrator' Bind DN credentials provided in the "LDAP Repository Details" section as per:

http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37459_01/E37463/html/ldap-auth.html#ldap-auth-enable

When an user attempts login to the SGD server, the credentials supplied by the user are reported as invalid, even though they entered the correct credentials.
