An MVC has a corrupted status of 'Mounted' when in fact it is not. The tape can be ejected from the Library and still have the Mounted status remain.  Somewhere in the past, an MVC status got corrupted and it kept the status of 'Mounted' when in fact it was not.  There is no utility to correct this status. This corrupted status can cause VOLPARM to fail when attempting to delete the MVC.
