Symptoms

Tape drive IO Fails within TSM

12/13/13   06:35:46      ANR8311E An I/O error occurred while accessing drive      
                         DRIVE32 (/dev/lin_tape/by-id/IBMtape500104F000A2D6B8) for
                         SETMODE operation, errno = 5, rc = 1. (SESSION: 17,      
                         PROCESS: 2)                                              
12/13/13   06:35:46      ANR8355E I/O error reading label for volume K00050 in    
                         drive DRIVE32 (/dev/lin_tape/by-id/IBMtape500104F000A2D6-
                         B8). (SESSION: 17, PROCESS: 2)
