HSM: Archiver Not Working Since New Tape Drives Were Added (Doc ID 1642320.1)

Oracle Hierarchical Storage Manager (HSM) and StorageTek QFS Software - Version 4.6 and later
Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit)

Symptoms

Customer changed their tape device configuration and now they are not able to archive any files.   Error message show no media or tape drives available.

Changes

They modified their mcf file, to add two more tape drives. Then to ensure these tape drives were working correctly, they commented out the other tape drives, so only the new ones could be tested.
