Symptoms

Removing a disk or LUN in Solaris Cluster 3.x with the cfgadm command returns the error, "cfgadm: Library error: failed to offline:"

Example A: The disk or LUN is the DID device d19 and the device is part of the test-ds disk set.  The device shows as unusable in 'cfgadm -al' output.

 

Changes

This will only be seen when trying to remove a disk or LUN.
