(Doc ID 1911263.1)
Last updated on JUNE 27, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Secure Global Desktop - Version 5.1 to 5.4 [Release 5.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Users launching application sessions with Oracle Secure Global Desktop (SGD) will be presented with an authentication dialog window. User credentials--such as User ID--will be cached by default after a successful launch, and presented on subsequent authentication attempts. Details on this functionality can be found in the formal Administration Guide.
Sometimes this automated prepopulation functionality is not the desired behavior. This document explains how to configure SGD so that the UserID is not filled in.
