The qlc patch, 149175 (or 149176 for x86), revisions -05 through -08, add the following forceload line to /etc/system:

    forceload: drv/qlcnic


Upon reboot, the following WARNING messages will be logged if no Qlogic FCOE capable HBA is installed:

These error messages do not indicate a problem. These messages are displayed because a kernel module for which there is no device installed cannot be forced to load.


NOTE: Patches 149175-09 / 149176-09 and higher no longer add this forceload to /etc/system.
