The qlc patch, 149175 (or 149176 for x86), revisions -05 through -08, added the following forceload line to /etc/system:

    forceload: drv/qlcnic

Upon reboot, the following WARNING messages will be logged if no Qlogic FCOE capable HBA is installed:
