Where is the space being used on my rpool? (Doc ID 1987083.1)

Last updated on JULY 07, 2023

Applies to:

Solaris Operating System - Version 10 11/06 U3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When trying to update the OS, we get an error stating that there is not enough space.

Using "df -h /" shows that / is only using around 2gb but there is only a very small amount of space available.

e.g.

If the size of / is 274gb and 2gb is used, how can there only be 1G available?
