Solaris Cluster Manager 3.x shows "HTTP Status 500 - type Exception report" after Patching, Upgrade or Installation (Doc ID 2009683.1)

Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit)

Symptoms

After the application of patchset to Solaris Cluster 3.x  the Oracle Solaris Cluster Manager GUI stop working with:

                           HTTP Status 500 - type Exception report

The update of the system included the webconsole patch

or


Additional errors may include stacktraces as in this screenshot:

The whole output in text format would be:

 The part "java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused" of the above output is also visible in the webconsole log file at /var/log/webconsole/console/console_debug_log.
