After applying Exalytics Release 220.127.116.11 on an existing bare metal PatchSet (PS) 5 machine, the exalytics_imageinfo command does not show the same kernel version in all locations.
Image version : 18.104.22.168_el5
Creation timestamp : Fri 29 May 2015 03:16:55 PM EDT
Kernel version : 2.6.39-400.248.3.el5uek ] --- shows -400.248.3. ---
kernel-uek-2.6.39-400.248.3.el5uek ] --- kernel version here matches above version ---
kernel-2.6.32-100.23.1.el5 ] --- shows lower level kernel version ---
Kernel version shows as 2.6.39-400.248.3.el5uek but the 'kernel' listed under the RPM versions shows kernel-2.6.32-100.23.1.el5.
Does this indicate that the patch did not install successfully or is it only partially installed?
