How to clear or import a foreign configuration on LSI ASPEN HBA from the configuration utility (Doc ID 2053957.1)

Goal

Sometimes a system is down and you cannot use the commandline utilities to clear a foreign configuration. The option to import or clear a foreign configuration from the configuration utility can be hard to locate.

Example:

Foreign configuration import did not import any drives.
